Netted Seal Rescued
Members of Friends of Horsey Seals rescue team were contacted by a member of the public about a seal with a lot of green netting stuck around its neck on Horsey beach. After identifying the affected seal, they were able to capture it using a specialised net designed for the job.

Free Again
Just over three months ago, our Rescue Team picked up a seal with horrible neck injuries that had been caused by a rope digging into its flesh.

Injured Seal Rescued
After several sightings on Horsey beach over the past few weeks, members of the Friends of Horsey Seals rescue team finally managed to catch a seal with piece of netting cutting into its neck.

Friends of Horsey Seals Rescue Mrs Vicar
A grey seal with a white ring digging deeply into her neck, nicknamed Mrs Vicar, was finally caught by members of the Friends of Horsey Seals rescue team on Easter Monday after two and a half years of trying.

Rescue Success Story
Sadly, our Rescue Team is seeing an increasing number of seals turning up entangled in our waste. This poor seal turned up on Horsey beach with a nylon cord tightly wound around its neck, cutting into its flesh.
