A huge pat on the back to a sixteen-year-old young lady from Hertfordshire, who did a very good thing when visiting Horsey seals with her family recently.
Chloe Lake has earned our praise because after reading about the harm done to seals getting tangled up in rubbish, she took a large carrier bag with her and filled it with other people’s waste from the beach.
Her brother contacted us to tell us how concerned she was about seals being harmed by discarded litter. If lots of people decide to follow her example, then this continuing problem would eventually go away.
