3rd January 2024
Winterton count was dry and a bit quicker this week as not so many seals to zig zag around and the counters were able to walk the coast path past G59.
TOTALS
Adults – 171 (of which 90 on main beach).
Newborn – 8 (all between groynes 58/53).
Sucklers – 54 (of which 33 on main beach).
Weaned – 476 (of which 300 on main beach).
Possibly Somerton Gap (as no adults here now and weaned reducing), may need warden to prevent people going on beach here as all Newborns are in the groynes.
