A very soggy affair!! The red kite was spotted again on Somerton plains, Woodcock near the dunes at the pillbox. A short-eared Owl at G38 and lots of white dots on the beach!! In the dunes between G38 and Somerton the adults are starting to come up. The tide was high which suggests the reason for the lower adult count, but baby boom has started with a staggering 506 pups counted this week that’s an increase of 423 week on week and 88 more than the same time last year…
