On the way out of the car park, a car had slipped off the main track and the car was half way into the woods.

Potential Danger for seals

We continue to pick up netting, rope and old lobster pots from our beaches. This week alone our wardens have picked up a bag of netting and rope from the shore line on Winterton beach.

A long way from Home!

Dawn, a member of the public, highlighted us to a black coated pup in the very far back dunes at Winterton a couple of days ago. On investigation, we found the pup and returned it to the beach BUT…..

Protecting the dunes at Winterton

The dunes at Winterton have seen an increase in footfall over the Christmas period, especially in two areas where members of the public have been using them to get to the beach from past the fisherman’s huts.
